Italian-built submersible pumps from Panelli, in cast iron and cast steel as well as micro-cast AISI 304 stainless, with 8" and 10" the sizes most Egyptian wells are cased for. The 8" 180 SX covers 78 to 140 m³/h at 10 to 150 HP, and the 10" 230 SX covers 200 to 280 m³/h at 25 to 340 HP. Semiaxial impellers suit mid-to-high flows at moderate head, which is the shape of most irrigation and water-network duty.
